Adhesive films are specially designed for use as microplate covers. Prevent sample evaporation and contamination in sensitive PCR applications. SealPlate is polyester based, inert, thermostable and functional from +4?:C to +95?:C. Less than 0.001% moisture permeable under high humidity conditions and less than 0.01% oxygen permeable. ThermalSeal is polypropylene based and RNase/DNase free. It is thermostable and functional from -40?:C to +125?:C at 75% humidity. Supplied with a split backing for accurate plate positioning and secure sealing.

Breathe-Easy provides a gas permeable seal for microwell plates. Plates covered with Breathe-Easy allow a uniform rate of oxygen and CO2 exchange across the membrane. Promotes contaminant free growth of cell cultures, cellular based biological and immunological assays, cell selection and cell screening. Plates covered with Breathe-Easy membrane can be inverted and agitated without cross contamination samples. Adhesive is FDA approved and will not interfere with human fibroblast cell growth and division. Resistant to most organic and caustic agents and withstands temperature from -80?C to 100?C. Easy to use. Remove release liner, roll brayer several times in all directions to loosen protective top layer and peel away top layer.

These improved films for classic thermal cycling applications consist of a 50 mum polyester film with a 41 mum layer of acrylic adhesive. Compared to the original ThermalSeal(R) films ThermalSeal(R) 2 films offer better adhesion reduced evaporation longer end tabs for easier handling and less tendency to tear during removal from the plate. Each sealing film measures 79.4 x 139.7 mm and offers sufficient sealing area for all PCR plates. Length between the perforations with end tabs removed is 125.1 mm. ThermalSeal 2 sealing films are not pierceable.

ThermalSeal RTS(TM) sealing film is a 50 mum thick polyolefin with 50 mum inert encapsulated silicone adhesive. They are optically clear with low autofluorescence and are especially suited for real-time qPCR storage and protein crystallization applications. The encapsulated silicone adhesive is non-tacky until pressed against the sealing surface at which time adhesive is released only in sealing areas to form the strongest available heat-resistant seal around each well on the plate.
